Unable to Assign Merit Badge Instructor

I am unable to assign myself in Legacy SB as the EmPrep MB counselor to a Scout that I am working with. (Note* I am the SM for our G troop and an ASM for our B Troop, with full admin permissions to both units). I have verified that I am current with my MB registration for that badge.

When selecting MB Counselor and clicking “Update” I get the following error: “Permissions: You must select at least one Merit Badge or remove the Merit Badge Couselor role.” There is nowhere to select the MB from a list. This should already be a given, as I navigated to the modify connection page from his MB. This issue is not limited to this Scout. I have tried this will my child’s MB as well.

@Michael.Brown - is this a scout you are already connected to and is that mb started

Yes. I am Connected and it is started.

Odd. my.scouting.org lists them and they have been listed correctly for the last 8 years. Thanks.

@Michael.Brown - if you go to that scout then connections and check the merit badge counselor box it does not list the merit badges?

No. As suggested, I reached out to Council. This worked just fine a few months ago.

@Michael.Brown - hopefully they can correct the issue. But out of curiosity what do you show in your account then your positions

only shows an error. My profile picture is gone as well

@Michael.Brown could you confirm that you see the merit badges in my.scouting.org (website, not an app) under My Profile? Also, please try looking in legacy Scoutbook again, and as Stephen suggested, click back and try again once you get the error message.

We have asked the developers to look into it, but the additional clarification will help.

Also, I merged an old Scoutbook account into your current. I don’t think that was related, but it helps clean things up a little.
