Merit badge not uploading to Scoutbook Plus

Troop 216, council 421, for member ID 141242129

I recently encountered an upload issue with Scoutbook Plus that I haven’t seen before. A scout attended Winter Blast and one of his merit badges did not upload after I exported from Troop Webhost. I got the following error message when I tried to upload:

Invalid advancementID of type meritbadge: 454

Above message from Scoutbook plus – this was for the scout below:

141242129||||meritbadge|454||2026-01-18 00:00:00|2026-01-18 00:00:00|

I manually deleted the row corresponding to the error code and successfully completed the upload for the other advancements. I was able to confirm that the merit badge corresponding to that error code is the new “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” merit badge. Do you why this error is occurring?

There is no Mertirbadge 454 - the version ID for IA is 454 - but I think the Webhost code format is wrong - would have to check after the weekend. think it should be meritbadge|157

I agree. I just generated a fake completion for AI badge, using Troopmaster, and examined the data upload file:

AI is indeed 157. @Kady-AnnSteen_Burrel You should open a trouble ticket with Troopwebhost and ask them to investigate.
