Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
My son’s profile in Scoutbook(legacy) is missing multiple items (including MB’s/advancement/records that should already be there), looks like his membership may have ended today despite him being re-registered in dec 2025. I can see a few things in My.Scouting.
Could someone please advise on:
How to restore or locate the missing information on his profile.
his SB user # is 2726439….member # is 135866617
Thank you in advance for your help — I appreciate it.
Generally, SB+ (advancements.scouting) has replaced classic Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting) for nearly all troop advancement functions. That’s the best place to be checking for a scout’s advancement status. Have you already verified with your unit scouters that the information was actually added to SB+ for your scout and Leader Approved?
If you can provide a list of what’s missing, the SUAC volunteers may be able to look into it.
Regarding the registration lapsing, your best bet is either to reach out directly to the council registrar (if you renewed directly) or to your unit Key 3 (if the troop paid renewal for your scout) to check on the status and what might be holding things up.
I see 2 my.scouting.org IDs for you. I have retired the ID with the . since it was never logged in. You also have 3 Scouting America Member IDs. I have put the 3rd one under management on your my.scouting.org ID that you used to log in today.
