Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have several scouts that have their entire adventure history missing from last year. They are missing that rank entirely even though I have physical certificates that they were awarded that rank. (Tiger) I cannot add their adventures again because they aren’t assigned to that level in the Den.
Can I re-assign them to be tigers again, adding their advancements, then move them back to wolf? Will they lose everything that they have done so far as wolves? Several of them have already completed Wolf requirements.
They have their rank that they earned as bobcats too.
@AndrewDexheimer so you are saying they are missing the Adventures (beltloops) in Scoutbook they earned last year? Post a BSA # (no name) and we can take a look
I apologies, but I was not a den leader while they were at this rank. I have been actively involved over the last year or so, but there was a transition during this time where I think some things were lost. The three scouts that are in question are:
14417234
14635717
140131480
14635717 is my son and I have his advancement cert, and most of the beltloops he received while at this rank.
@AndrewDexheimer it simply looks like past leaders might not have entered data. This has no effect on scouts as the Cub history is not used for anything. If you want to correct, easiest would be to Edit your own Den back one level, then you can enter last level of awards, you might just want to force enter ranks (using last years versions if still available), all 3 scouts are all missing different adventures.
@DonovanMcNeil
We have a new scout that wants to transfer in, his old member ID doesn’t work when we try to locate him in my.scouting or beascout .
Member ID - 13569506
Can you let me know if it is still active or how to get him transferred in successfully?
I will send you a direct message > look at top right Avatar to find it > it will be a green envelope > it will be a private message channel with select members of the Scoutbook User Advisory Council (SUAC)
