We have two youths that have been on our roster for many years. Out of the blue, all of their advancements/achievements showed up under a different BSA ID not currently on our roster. The BSA ID’s that are on our roster are completely void of any information. Has this happened to others? How do I resolve?
-
Youth #1:
BSA ID 141806329 (not on our roster but is attached to all achievements in SB)
BSA ID 140134513 (on our roster, but no info in SB).
-
Youth #2:
BSA ID 141722138 (not on our roster but is attached to all achievements in SB)
BSA ID 133108157 (on our roster, but no info in SB).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much!!
@TiffanyBeffel this is fixed - this is from users making logins in incorrectly - Use this PDF to show how to do it correctly.
Myst Account Setup.pdf (233.0 KB)
Thank YOU Donovan!! Super helpful as always and I appreciate the PDF. We are still working to get all of our youth logging into their SB accounts, so this PDF is timely and a great reminder.
One final issue on this topic. Looks like all is addressed for BSA ID 133108157 however for BSA ID 140134513, he is showing twice in our roster list on Scoutbook.
@TiffanyBeffel- are you seeing two in advancements.scouting.org? That is where you should be working rather than legacy scoutbook
This Scout had a troop membership and also a patrol membership. I have ended the troop membership.
It appears I have a similar issue. I was a scout myself (assuming MID XXXXXXXXXX) and then I signed my daughter up (MID XXXXXXXXXX [with previous XXXXXXXXXX?]). I then became her Den Leader. A year later we moved (from Dayton Pack 329 to Honolulu Pack 3297). Now I am not linked to her. The new Pack has tried to link us, but said that there were numerous accounts for me (they sent a screenshot showing my daughter as Child to XXXXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXXXX [initiated]). In “manage member” on my.scouting.org, I have 3 listed (XXXXXXXXXX, XXXXXXXXXX, & XXXXXXXXXX), none of which match the first one above. Also, not tracking whether these are MID or SB.
Ask:
I want only 1 account - preferably one that has my time as a scout (XXXXXXXXXX), my training as a scout leader (XXXXXXXXXX), and is linked to my daughter (XXXXXXXXXX).

@CameronSmith7 This is fixed as well as it can be. The member ID number ending in -437 is the one that belongs to Aloha Council.
The only remaining issue is that you have 2 usernames (logins) at my.Scouting. I recommend that you do not use the one that has Google sign in.
