I am the Scoutmaster for a unit in one council and an advancement chair/ parent for a unit in a second council. So far the second unit gave me permissions to record advancement on their Seascouts in scoutbook using my main scoutbook account (primary council). This appears to be blocked in scoutbook plus. How do I access advancement in the second unit (Seascouts) without disrupting my access to my primary unit (Troop) where I am Scoutmaster?
This is behaving as designed. You will need a 2nd Scoutbook account to manage units in 2 Coucnils.
You have 2 options:
- Use Manage Member ID on a single my.scouting.org ID to switch to the Scoutbook account for the Council containing the unit you want to work on, then log in to Scoutbook.
- Create a separate my.scouting.org ID for each Member ID then use the corresponding ID to log in to Scoutbook.
