Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have multiple member ids (removed by Moderator) (Primary Id), and (removed by Moderator).
I need to have any training records associated with (removed by Moderator) merged into (removed by Moderator) and I need to have the following scouts Ids linked to
You can do this part yourself by putting both IDs under management in your my.scouting account (Manage Member ID in the drop-down menu), and toggling which of the two BSA IDs is primary, then wait 24 hours +/-. Do not log into Scoutbook/SB+/etc during the toggling as that might create a new SB/SB+ account.
For connecting the scouts to the correct (i.e. current registration) BSA ID, your council registrar needs to do this using the Registrar Tools to create the relationship.
@JoshuaLueck Normally, users can use Manage Member ID (at my.Scouting) and put all of their BSA member ID numbers under management there. However, if their names or DOB do not match exactly, then users cannot do this for themselves.
I have put your BSA member ID numbers under Manage Member ID, and I have merged your Scoutbook accounts.
Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your children. In the “Relationships” tab / section, they should remove you as parent under your secondary BSA member ID numbers. Then they should add you as parent under your primary BSA member ID number, the one that ends in -461. This will help to prevent future issues.
