Multiple Scoutbook Accounts (x2)

Somewhere between switching Packs and bridging into our Troop, both my scout and I ended up with duplicate scoutbook accounts.
Could you please advise as to the next steps for merging these accounts?!

@KelaniCummings I have merged your Scoutbook accounts. Each council is assigned its own BSA member ID numbers, so when you moved to a new council, you and your Scout both got new BSA member ID numbers.

Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your Scout. In the “Relationships” tab / section, they should remove you as parent under your secondary BSA member ID number, the one ending in -640. They should add you as parent under your primary BSA member ID number, which ends in -236. This will help to prevent future issues.

Mahalo! But my Scout’s records are still showing as multiples… could you please merge the following Member IDs: 135865639 & 14004139?! Our preference would be to keep his original Member ID ending in —5639.

@KelaniCummings - if the new BSA ID is from your current council then that is the one that must be used.

@KelaniCummings BSA member ID numbers cannot be merged, they can only be managed (Manage Member ID). Your Scout does not appear to have a username at my.Scouting, so they cannot be managed at this time.

Your Scout is currently registered under BSA 14004139, which belongs to Twin Rivers. So that is the one that needs to be set as primary, if you decide to create a username for him.
