I have a new merit badge counselor who has the myscouting.org app. He is an old scouter and is getting frustrated when the technology doesn’t work, and is ready to say the heck with it. He is trying to take his SYT via the app. Where you click to see your status there is a button at the bottom to click to retake the course. It is red (assuming since he was formerly ypt and is expired) and when he clicks on it, it give an error screen top left corner of the screen with this ~5 error. I met with him and tried it myself and it is doing exactly as he described above. His scouting ID number is 14157038 can someone check into this. I hate for him to give up and walk away because he can’t get his syt done.
@MichaelPeterson10- I just tried this myself and it takes me to the course.. really would not recommend this on a phone. My thought is that since the YPT expired his membership may well be suspended.

Mine works as well and yes I am going to lend him my laptop to complete the course.
The issue may be that for SGT, you have to take it once, not retake it. Having done YPY in the past doesn’t put you in the spot to retake SGT. I assume retake is for those that had done it last year.
