Hi- a merit badge counselor was accidentally linked as a parent to one of our scouts in SB. However it doesn’t show up in SB+ and our council registrar can’t see the error. In the youth’s connections, the wrong person is checked as a parent and grayed out, so I can’t seem to break this connection either. Advice? thanks!
Well SB Connections are now dead so this should be no issue - and if grey it means it was never accepted
@JohnDean4 The merit badge counselor can remove the incorrect parent connection in Scoutbook (legacy) or the local council can remove it in Scoutbook using their Volunteer Support Tools.
It seems like it “took” as the RSVP report generator for this weekend’s trip is posting the MBC as the parent Scout’s family contacts. Ugh
@JohnDean4 ok what is date and title - can you access this event? What is scout MID.
the whole move from Legacy Connections - to SB+ Relationships (parents) and Permissions (Leaders) is fun - this is a spot still probably using connections that needs to be fixed and we just need to find any others.
His # 14696254. (removed by Moderator) is the MBC/not-parent. It’s our troop trip to Boston MA where the RSVP report generator grabbed the not-parent LOL

So is that parent on the Event itself - or just in the Report
