New Leader trying to transfer in

I’m a new leader in my sons troop. Up to this point the troop has done everything on paper. I’m am going to be the advancement Chair and get us Online.

I’m trying to join my 2 Scouting IDs. But I get the following message.

The provided Member ID does not match the existing user profile.

OLD: 11011525 (from my troop as a youth and Eagle Scout)
New: 137285541 (joined as an adult leader this year)

Thank You for your help. I jsut started my research today, so I will be diving into all the help links and guidebooks to get us started.

Those 2 BSA member numbers have completely different names and dates of birth.

I think these are your BSA member numbers:

137285541
110115255

The reason you are having difficulties with Manager Member ID is because your first name is misspelled on the first BSA member number.

@JosephLehman I was able to add both BSA member numbers to your my.scouting account (Manage Member ID), but you will need to contact your local council about correcting the spelling of your name.
