No access to any of my Cub Scouts

I am an Assistant Cubmaster/Den Leader in one pack, and a Den Leader in another pack. For some reason, I currently do not have any access to update or add any of the adventures for any of my Cubs. One pack, depending on the browser I use, I either can’t see them at all or update them. The other pack I was unassigned, again, as the Den Leader, so I have no access to the scouts at all. I am still seeing folks that did not re-register. My son is one who did not re-register after he got his Eagle Scout as he is heading off to the military. It is also still asking me to confirm my connection with him, even though he isn’t registering again. Are these issues possibly due to the system being updated to remove those not re-registering?

I would suggest starting with checking your registered positions at my.scouting. The permissions structure was completely changed around a month ago, as described in the blue banner at the top of these forums. The default access is tied to your district registered positions in each unit.

ACM has hardly any default access permissions. DL has default access to the scouts in the den to which the registered DL is assigned, but only if registered as DL and assigned to a den by the unit.

Since ACM and DL are registered positions, you can’t be registered as both in the same unit. You should be able to verify your registered positions by logging into your account at my.scouting. The unit can add supplemental permissions, within certain limits, depending on your actual registered position.

Similarly, if your registration in the other unit didn’t renew for some reason, then your permissions would disappear with the registration.
