No access to record progress

My Scouting Tools Internet Advancement

I am the troop’s advancement coordinator and, in Scoutbook, was able to add and approve advancement. In Internet Advancement, it does not give me the option to record advancement progress. I was originally an ASM (because we were a brand new troop) but since, have moved into a committee position. My position on I.A. is listed as ASM. I’m assuming that’s why I can’t access??? Anyone know how to shift that to A.C.??

A Key 3 has log into my.scouting.org > click top left MENU > Click Unit area > click Organization Security Manager > then click unit advancement chair and select your name and save

You can also keep using Scoutbook. There was a recent domain name change.

If you want to use Internet Advancement, please go to:
https://advancements.scouting.org

You might also need to clear your browser cache and cookies, and open in a private / incognito window.

“Unit area” is not an option.

Scoutbook will not let me in. It tells me that it can’t log me in. I’ve trying clearing the cache and going Incognito. Nothing is working.

You need one of the unit Key 3 (Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, or Chartered Org. Rep.) or a Key 3 Delegate to log in at my.scouting and use the Organization Security Manager (OSM) to add you as Unit Advancement Chair or Key 3 Delegate.

You won’t see the OSM unless you are a unit Key 3 or a Key 3 Delegate.

Try reloading the log in page once or twice before you try to actually log in. There is a recaptcha running in the background that can be a little finicky sometimes.

That takes me to the Internet Advancement login. Is that where it’s supposed to go or should it go to Scoutbook?

It is the new url for Scoutbook.

The new URL for ScoutBook is Scoutbook. If you are seeing the Internet advancement login instead of the Scoutbook login you need to with try an incognito window or clear your cache and cookies.

Cleared my cookies and it worked! I had cleared the cache but not the cookies. Thank you!
