No longer connected to the Scouts for Merit Badges

Recently my registration as a MBC was disable when some large process happened within Scoutbook. My local council did put me back as an MBC but I now have lost the connection I had to the Scouts past and present. The main issue is present Scouts where I no longer see them and have no other record of what they have completed. How do I get this fixed? Without this fix, several Scouts may need to start some MB’s over.

Your MBC position was removed from Scoutbook because it expired on 4/30/24 and was not renewed within 60 days. Your Council restored the position on 7/2/24.

If you know the Scouts’ BSA Member IDs, you can reconnect yourself to them by logging in to Scoutbook, clicking My Account → My Connections → Add. Otherwise, the Scout’s parent or a leader can connect you as MBC.

If you recorded the MB data in Scoutbook, nothing has been lost and the Scouts will not have to start over.

Your Council may be able to open a ticket with BSA Member Care on your behalf asking them to restore the connections but it would probably be faster to make the connections yourself.
