Hello! I was just reviewing my training records as I am about to cross over to the Troop with my son, and I wanted to see what training I had done 20 years (as a young adult) was still “on the books.” My S20 Scout training is there, but my Woodbadge completion is not, even though i have the certificate, card, beads, etc. How do i get this updated?
On Councils enter in Woodbadge - you would need to talk to the Training Staff liaison probably
Would that be the council in which i took the training (which has merged with others to become a new one) or the council I am in now?
Numbers do not merge - let me take a look
@JASONCANNON I see numbers in Dan Webster and Spirit of America - are those both you?
Yes. Spirit of America (previously with Yankee Clipper Council) is where i was a youth and adult leaders, and a DE and where i did my Woodbadge. I am currently in Daniel Webster/Scouting America of New Hampshire.
Spirit of America - just has D20 - Unit Commissioner Position-Specific Training - I will put them under Manage member ID for you
Yes, that I see in my training records online but my Woodbadge is not there. I also did other trainings like venture Specific, but I am not worried about that right now. Mostly Woodbadge. NE-I-208-46
Well all training should sync to primary MID over next 24 hours. WB was never entered either a council, or maybe a unit Key3 could use Training Manager to enter it (have never tried that.) - I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number
@JASONCANNON - i recall being able to enter woodbadge for two of my leaders as committee chair. It is just the date completed
The course portion of Woodbadge is listed as A90 in the training records. The completion of your ticket is listed as an award WOODBADGE COMPLETE (714), not training. I have no idea why it is recorded this way.
If you took Woodbadge out of Council, it may not have been recorded. I recommend sending a copy of your certificate to your Council to have it entered in your record.
I will give that a shot. Thank you!
