Training record question

I have a pack committee member in my district (I’m the district training chair) who completed her YPT (valid until 2025) and all the position specific modules but shows as not trained in the reports.
The “incomplete online” is empty and only remains he incomplete classroom but that as usual until the online is completed.

What is she missing? Or do I need to contact the Council Training Chair (volunteer just like me)

I can share her name and BSA ID in a DM

Post her BSA Member ID (no names) and we will look. Most likely she has multiple IDs.

Her BSA ID is 140444854

Thank you

@NicolasRietsch

Not that it will affect her training, but she does have another MID 140829212. I recommend contacting the Council and asking them to use the relationships tab of Registrar Tools to move her daughter MID 140829213 from MID 140829212 to MID 140444854.

Since we see her training in the database, all the modules appear on thetraining reports but you still see untrained you will need to ask your Council to open a ticket with BSA Member Care.

ok. thank you for looking into it

YPT is not showing across two BSA IDs. Please help. Many Thanks.

@DarrinHansen you are good - what do you mean it does not show?

@DarrinHansen - when you first log into my.scouting.org you want to click on the my training tile

Good Now. I guess I had to make my other ID as Primary for the system to catch up to itself. We are good under both ID’s now.

Thanks for your help.

@DarrinHansen You should keep the BSA member ID ending in -393 as primary, because that number has your adult leader registrations.

Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your child (or children). In the “Relationships” tab / section, they should remove you as parent under your secondary BSA member ID number. This will help to prevent future issues.

Is there any way to get the name of the person from our Council (564 Capitol Area Council, Austin TX) who is in charge of submitting BSA Member Care? I’ve asked several Council level staff and they all responded that they hadn’t heard of this. I have the same issue as Nick, but with an ASM. All training completed online, along with IOLS, Hazardous Weather, and YPT, but still showing up as untrained. If we give the person credit for S24 (classroom training) then it shows as trained.

@ChristyCochran - the council professional staff should know and I would think the registrar

@ChristyCochran Ask Office staff - not DE’s - what is the leaders BSA#?

The leader’s BSA# is 12582661.

I’ve asked but the ones I’ve talked to weren’t aware of this. I just sent an email to a few different staff members to see what they know (registrar, office manager, admin asst to CE).

so where is it showing not trained?

Not trained as an ASM. He’s had IOLS, HW, and all the SM/ASM SCO_### courses. I went through and compared to the position-specific listing, and every requirement was matched with what is shown in my.scouting completions list.

So Trained does not show on the my.scouting.org roster?

This is for an ASM?

It looks like this user took the older version of some courses (for example: SCO_443 instead of SCO_481 Scouting Organization).
