We have a Scout who wants to transfer into our Troop from out of Council. In Scoutbook Plus, under Roster, there is a “Transfer Member” button. It brings up a dialogue with some links and information, but the links do not appear to work.
I also tried the “Transfer In” function under the Organization Manager in my.scouting.org. This gave me an error saying “Member Not Found”. I have verified the Scout’s information and ID number.
How can I transfer this Scout into our Troop? Thank you!
I think the only way is for Registered Parents for Scout in AKELA (the one that can renew the scout) - goes to beascout.scouting.org and finds your unit and starts a transfer there.
Thank you. The parent has initiated the transfer, and I’m assuming as Committee Chair I’ll receive some sort of notice to approve on my end. I appreciate the help (as always!)
