Parent Access Issue


I have a parent that isn’t able to access her Son’s account. Her Son’s Scoutbook ID is 4381777 and BSA Id is 134991819. Her member Id in advancement is 140202287.

Any ideas/suggestions?

@WilliamCashman OK a few issues here - The mother made a new account for the Scout using Google login with her email, she did not use the right info so the Scout was not found (I have fixed that.)

The SCOUT login is Sign in with Google and then the mothers email. The Mothers email is her sign in . Please pass that on.

I have another parent whose email was entered incorrectly.

Scout info:


BSA Member ID:


Parent is (removed by Moderator)

Incorrect email is: (e-mail removed by Moderator)

correct email is:

(e-mail removed by Moderator)

Please advise on how to fix.

If they can log in, they can correct it themselves by going to:

Scoutbook → My Dashboard → Administration → Edit Profile.

I can’t recall if Key 3 can make corrections to this or not. They didn’t used to have access to that, but I saw a post recently that suggested they might be able to do so.

No, he can’t log in. He found out about the email typo from his wife who has her own account. And he can’t recover the account himself since it sends to the wrong email.

@WilliamCashman Your local council should be able to correct the e-mail address.

However, it looks like his username is the same as his (incorrect) e-mail address.
