Parent Access issues

Hello,
There are 3 parents that need help accessing their Scoutbook accounts.

Parent 1 - 12733771 - cannot access their account.

Parent 2 has two accounts - 12725053 and 133317606

Parent 3 cannot add her DOB and also has 2 accounts - 13062116 and 133317606

Thanks for your help!

Everything looks OK to me. Is this parent able to log in to her account at my.scouting?

This user’s Scoutbook accounts have been merged.

I would recommend contacting the local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up his child (or children). In the Relationships" section, he should be listed as parent only under BSA member ID number 12725053. He should be removed if listed as parent under any other BSA numbers. Otherwise, his BSA numbers might get switched at Recharter, and this could result in the creation of another Scoutbook account.

I have merged this user’s Scoutbook accounts. She also has 2 usernames at my.scouting. One is an e-mail address. The other is not. Which one would she like to keep?

Thanks for responding.

Parent #3 would like to keep the ID 13062116 as this is the one that lists her current YPT.

I have another parent #4 who is also registered 2 times: 136394664
She would like to change her second name and her email. How can she do that without me posting it on here?
Thanks!

@PamelaSherratt

With Manage Member ID, training gets copied onto the BSA member ID number that is set as “primary” at my.Scouting. BSA 134715202 is the best number to use for this parent, because it has her full name, date of birth, and parent / child relationships at my.Scouting.

The username (login) is something different. Parent #3 has 2 different usernames at my.scouting. Which one would she like to keep?

Parent #4 should be able to log in at my.Scouting and check her mailing and e-mail addresses there. She should click on “My Profile” and scroll down to the “Address” and “Contact” sections. She might also be able to correct her name on that screen. But if not, she can contact the local council, and they should be able to correct her name.

I would recommend that she contact the local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up her child (or children). In the “Relationships” section, she should be listed as parent only under BSA member ID number 13428729. They should remove her if listed as parent under any other BSA numbers.

Thanks! I will see them tonight so might have more Qs tomorrow.

@PamelaSherratt Some of the BSA’s systems do not like e-mail addresses as usernames, so I would recommend keeping the other username.
