I have a parent (13320880) who Scoutbook and Scoutbook Plus show as connected to her daughter (141296569). The parent is trying to view her daughters advancement. She sees her listed with her two sons on the “Parents/Guardians For List” (I believe she’s in scoutbook plus based on the screen shot she sent me). She can click on her sons and see their info but she can’t click on her daughter. What should she do?
@ElainePosanka is the parent changing profiles in the top dropdown menu to that child?
Please don’t post names (or images with names) in the forums, especially not in combination with the Member IDs. The forums are world-readable, so there’s no PII protection.
That data looks somewhat incorrect for a Parent/Guardian relationship. In their SB+ profiles, our scouts say “SCOUT NAME is son of PARENT NAME”. Is that some other interface?
@ElainePosanka that parents relationships are messy - they should contact Council to clean them up - they are Mother AND Son of a few scouts.
They have 2 sons and 1 daughter. Are you saying that for one of those children they are listed as mother and son? Anything amiss with the connection to the daughter?
As Stated - Council just needs to go in and straighten up the relationships
Sorry about that. I didn’t think about the name being on the screenshot, and I thought someone would be able to identify the app/interface they’re using by looking at the screen shot. I don’t have children in scouting, so I can’t find comparable. I have asked her what app/interface she’s using.
I know every council is different , but my council the registrar has helped me with things like assigning leaders to roles, getting scouts records, getting copies of the charter. Does that sound like the person she should start with?
Yes Registrars can solve this using Registrar Tools
