I’m attempting to add an additional parent as a connection to a scout in my troop. The parent created a my.scouting.org login, and sent me their ID #. (They are not registered with any unit.) I added the parent through the child’s profile in advancements.scouting.org, through the “Known scouting account ID” tab, making sure to select her as the mother of the scout. Scoutbook sent her a confirmation e-mail, but when she clicks on it (while logged in), it takes her to an error page saying she doesn’t have access. No change is seen to her connection on the scout’s profile afterwards. What are we doing wrong? (Or is this a bug?) The Scout’s ID is 140235511.
The father needs to log in to approve the relationship since he is the parent currently listed in Akela. Did the father get a confirmation e-mail?
