Parent that is already attached to the scout in Scoutbook Legacy is getting this message. Is there anything that needs to be done or is this because the Scout is due for renewal?
Yes, the relationship needs to be added. I’ve found it works pretty well for the other parent to go to the profile and click the + in the relationship section.
I don’t believe the other parent is on Scoutbook. Is there another option?
What do the instructions say when the click on them?
Thanks for checking back. I got it figured out.

Our troop has both parents ID121308134 and ID133625310 for one scout SB User ID: 2379362 Member ID: 133625309 getting the same “Relationship Verification Needed” message. Please advise next step to figuring this issue out. (One parent is also a leader).
Comment: The 12/31/2025 date is the Troop rechartering date and the troop has opted to pay for re-registrations of youth and leaders versus the extra charges for individual registrations.
@StephenCoates The father has 3 member ID numbers:
121308134 - primary
14812721
140235485
His parent / child “relationships” to H. are under the wrong MID. He needs to be removed as parent under 14812721, and then added as parent under MID 121308134. The local council can fix this with their Registrar Tools.
This parent also has 2 usernames (logins) at my.Scouting. The local council can merge them for him.
