ISSUE

I have a father who cannot access his Scout in Scoutbook Plus. Upon investigation he has TWO BSA IDs and neiher appears to have access permission.

DISCUSSION

Scout 1367843089 has a father with two BSA ID 133407360 and 136784309. Scoutbook Legacy shows the latter as PENDING. In Scoputbook Plus, both father’s IDs show no permissions are granted.

DESIRED OUTCOME

Remove 1334078360 as a BSA ID for the father. Grant full access to father using the 135784309 BSA ID.

@TopDog I found the scout - the father is in relationship with the scout under both numbers. He logged in yesterday. I first suggest watching the user login to SB+ (advancements.scouting.org).

The father has 2 DOB on his records - work with council to sort that out

@TopDog The father’s last name is also spelled slightly different between the two member ID numbers, so that would also need to be confirmed.

@TopDog I would recommend using the father’s member ID number 133407360, because it has his history as a registered adult leader. Your local council should be able to fix using their Registrar Tools.
