I’m a Parent of two scouts, and am not getting emails from Scoutbook. My scout is getting emails without any issues, and I’m able to get text notifications, but I’ve searched throughout Gmail (filters, spam, other folders, etc) and am not seeing any emails. I’ve confirmed my email address is accurate in the system and Opt Out is not selected. My Member ID is 13801576. Any help would be appreciated!
@LisaLowery1 so if your unit sends an Email you get it as a text? Do I understand right?
If I click the ‘Send Text’ option for myself, I get it instantly. But if I try to ‘Send Email’, I’m not seeing anything.
So try adding +1 after your user in your email - we have seen that get around it in GMAIL - so myemail+1@gmail.com
It worked! That was the only change I made, and it came thru on the next test. Thanks for your help!
The + on alot of email systems is a nice feature and tons of ways to use it - with no change to account you can use +Pack4597@gmail.com, or +Scoutmaster. Anything. It always goes to the same account.
