Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
We havce a parent who has “opted out of email” per Scoutbook but when we talk with her she doesn’t recall ever intentionally doing that. So of course she is not getting troop emails from Scoutbook. We gave her instruction on how to toggle it back but is now unable to login in to scoutbook and shared “I tried to log in and it said my answers were incorrect.”
Can someone toggle this back for her so she at least can get troop emails?
She also has two accounts in Scoutbook with one email address: 137308140 and 14351131. Pretty sure the …131 one is the correct one as that appears to be their current address.
@JonathanKing1 the SB Users are merged - the mother can log in using Sign in with Google to scoutbook.scouting.org > then click My Profile > Email > on that page there is a toggle to opt back into email
What if you have a parent that logged in to their account and they can’t change the email option? I told him to contact someone at Scoutbook to help.
Who can he contact?
Actually, it’s a parent that’s been in my pack for several years and for some reason last year over the summer, they were unable to receive emails anymore.
What do you need from me? His name or his scout’s ID?
