Parent unable to view Calendar

We have 2 parents of newly registered Scouts who report they cannot view the Pack or Den Calendar in Scoutbook Plus. When they try to access the Calendar, they receive an error message that says “your position{s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action”. These parents are not registered leaders, but National is telling me that a Key 3 needs to assign their permissions. I’m a Key 3 and do not see a way to assign permissions to a Parent in the new Permissions Manager. In both cases, the parent already appears in the Relationships field in the Scout’s Profile.

Please provide the member ID numbers of the Scouts, and someone will take a look.

This parent created a username for the scout that is the parent’s name. So, that probably has something to do with the issue. They are likely logging in as the scout instead of their self.

This parent seems to have a proper username on the parent’s account. They last logged in on Nov 26. Id suggest watching them log in to see if they are in the right place or ask them for a screenshot which you could share here if there is no personal info.

If you confirm that she wants to use that username for herself, an SUAC member can change it.
