It was a bit of a surprise to us that parents now have to have a confirmed relationship with their Scout. After a massive amount of work to identify who was suddenly not getting emails, we started to collect Member IDs, dates of birth, etc. to connect them in Scoutbook Plus again…
I have found out that now none of the parents we attempted to connect to a Scout ever got the email to confirm the relationship.
It’s one thing to make massive changes, but for it not to work entirely is leading to Scouts missing meetings. We have a large pack of over 70 Scouts, and this is really impacting our families.
Please advise on how we should handle this moving forward.
You can provide a Member # of a parent who did not receive Email (no names) and we can take a look.
These users did not receive the email to confirm the relationship with their Scout:
But I am hearing that none of the parents I have added have received the email.
**13863880 - this one is messed up at council - the Mother is Mother of NL but also the Son of NL - Council needs to clean that up in their System
**
But am checking to see what can be learned on both of the emails
Hello. Can you advise how to add my wife as parent? We have tried to enter in her Scout ID, Name and DOB, it comes up as not found. On her profile, her DOB shows invalid. How can I add her DOB, then add her to scoutbook as parent? Thank you.
@TulioFernandez if DOB is wrong best to talk to council - they can fix it all and make her a parent
@TobyLichtle I assume those emails are set to primary for the user?
