Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Hi there, please help with these multiple accounts:
S.A. (second account has incorrect last name, spelled A…) Correctly spelled account is 14012466 incorrect is 137482249
K.P.
135589547 is the one ID number I can see, I do not have access to the other one. Parents and scout WERE in Florida but are now in Lake Erie Council
S.K. & E.C.K. (are the same person)
The name on the account should be S.K., but the one ID number I can see is 14166389. Also, originally in Florida, but now in Lake Erie Council.
I recommend contacting the local council and asking them to use the Registrar Tools to look up S.A.'s child(or children). In the “Relationships” tab / section, she should be listed as parent only under her primary member ID number: They should remove her as parent under any other member ID numbers. This will help to prevent future issues, such as the creation of duplicate Scoutbook accounts.
I have merged this user’s Scoutbook accounts. However, she does not have a member ID number in Lake Erie Council. She might need to get one in order for things to work correctly. Your council should be able to assist.
Thank you… I asked Council to help with these issues originally and they said they could not figure it out and only this forum could help. I am not sure what to do now if they do not know how to resolve these issues.
The council registrar should, in principle, understand the specific instructions Jennifer provided. If they still aren’t sure what to do, there is an internal “help” group for registrars where they can ask questions, or the council can submit a Member Care ticket to national for assistance.
