Permission / Position Move Issues - CM to DL

Our Committee Chair recently stepped down and will be a Den Leader. Our CoR made this update but the only way he seem to be able to make it stick is that she is tagged as both a Den Leader and Unit Scouter Reserve. If we try to remove the USR role, we get this error message -

But they are in the Den Leader spot too -

Member ID is 14008411 - Pack 643 in Three Fires 127

And what is the COR Member ID

@JeremyGinsberg so here is my question - was the user already somehow registered twice in the unit? where they already a USR?

@JeremyGinsberg

What happened when the COR first tried to move the CC to DL?

Did the COR do the following?
Click - on CC
Add DL
Click Save

Was there an error at that time?

Leader was in the DL and CC roles, went to remove CC and got the error. Added them as a USR, and that seemed to fix it, but now we can’t remove the USR.

They were registered as CC and DL?

Yes - they showed in both lists prior.

So was this today or a few days ago?

There were no previous registrations as DL, only CC.

Yesterday, tried to remove the USR role today with the same wrror

Can I tag on here? Member ID 135729474 - I am also on our pack’s Registered Position chart twice, as Den Leader and Webelos Den Leader. I’m not sure how to get me out of the Webelos Den Leader. If I drag me somewhere else, I get an error “This member is already assigned to two registered positions in this unit. Unassign one of the positions before assigning them to another position.“ but I don’t see a way to delete me from one of the positions.

In Scoutbook legacy, I ended my “Webelos Den Leader” and Asst Den Leader positions on Nov 10 to try to resolve this. What is the deal on that side anyway? You have said for example Webelos Den Leader is a dead role now and should not be used, but it has to be selected in order to have a Webelos den be selectable to go along with the position. Should den leaders all be given “Den Admin” for their specific dens?

@edavignon/ @DonovanMcNeil - Any update on how to resolve?

@JeremyGinsberg

The developers are looking into it.
