I cannot get the permission slip button to show up. I created an event for the Webelo and AOL dens for a camporee and cannot get the permission slip button to show up. It did work when I created an event for the pack’s camping trip last weekend.
Any help is appreciated.
Eric
@EricRuby - i would edit the event and make sure this is selected as a test event had the button
I see how mine is different - I used the unit rather than only sub-units. If I used the sub units only there was no button, but editing and adding the unit added the permission slips
@EricRuby @Stephen_Hornak
I have reported this to the developers.
Thank you. I had to make a “fake event” using the whole pack and only invite the individuals from the two dens to create permission slips and then delete the event after printing the forms.
Having the same issue. When is this going to be fixed?
Having no permission slips for Den Specific Field Trips is not good and extra work to do workarounds for a larger unit.
The BSA doesn’t publish timelines for fixes. All the SUAC volunteers can say is to watch the Change Logs (https://discussions.scouting.org/c/scoutbook/scoutbook-change-log/16 for notice that any given issue has been fixed.

This still hasn’t been fixed and is extremely annoying. Also, selecting multiple dens in a pack triggers a “multi-unit” subject line email.
Packs operate differently than troops and webelo/AOL dens can and do go on more activities that require permission slips than Lions.
