I’ve been getting my Troop and Pack onto Scoutbook this year. I’ve got the Troop all squared away now, but I’m running into trouble moving the Cubs around. As I’m the one setting all this up how do I get access to move and add advancements to all of the Cub Scouts (oddly I can move around some of the Webelos)?
You need to be a unit admin to have access to all of the Scouts. A Key 3 (Cubmaster, Committee Chair or Charter Org Rep) should be able to add the unit admin role for you.
I am a Key 3 member, Pack Admin, and Troop Admin.
The Cubmaster says he is not seeing a “Unit Admin,” so he added me as “Unit Advancement Chair” to see if that works. Still no dice. What am I missing here?
Ask the Cubmaster to reset your Pack Admin role and connections. Here’s how he can do this:
- In Scoutbook, he needs to go to the Pack Roster page.
- Click on your name.
- Click on your Pack Admin role.
- Make sure the box is checked next to “position approved”.
- Click Update.
This should reset your Pack Admin role and your connections to all Cub Scouts in the pack.
