Parent receives an error code every time he tries to log in and is VERY frustrated. I have reached out to council and they have not been able to help. He receives my invitation directly from scoutbook and when he clicks the link to log-in it gives him an error. He’s been pretty irate so any help is great!
I also need these parents connection to their scout verified. I show on my end that they are connected (same family).

Hi,
I am also having trouble with several scouts being unable to connect with their parents in scoutbook online. The instructions say that parents can invite their scouts through the “Extended Editing” button on the scout’s profile, but when this is clicked on, there is a note telling parents to go to “Edit Profile” instead. And there is no button to invite scouts to connect in the internet advancement profile it take parents to. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

For a while BSA forced emails to scout accounts which kind of messed things up - Scouts (Parents) can go to my.scouting.org to create an account for the Scout - then use that username and password to log in - just follow these instructions so they DO NOT make a second account
