@DonovanMcNeil

Thank you for cleaning up the multiple user issue. I found a few more duplicates that need to be cleaned-up/merged and/or deleted.

1293658 and 137437475
13179192 and 131101770
13647351 and 13647348

Thank you for your assistance.

Kevin Hickey

@KevinHickey please identify what kinds of numbers - I think they are BSA so I will start there

@KevinHickey 1293658 and 137437475 do not match up

12936958 and 137437475

These are all BSA numbers for adults.

Thank you

Kevin Hickey

@KevinHickey I am looking in to this for you.

@KevinHickey This should be fixed.

I need to merge accounts too.

My account is SB- 9604701 ID- 12787518 and I have 2 kids on it.

My oldest child son needs to be brought over to my account SB 1154638 ID 133339114 instead of being under my husband’s name. I’m tired of having 2 different logins.

@JulieTaney I do not see any duplicate accounts for us to merge.

In order to connect yourself to your older Scout, log in to your Scoutbook account and go to:

My Dashboard → Administration → My Account → My Connections

Look for the following red text and click on it to connect to your Scout as parent / guardian:

You will need to know your older Scout’s BSA member number in order to connect this way.

I would also recommend that you contact your local council. Ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your “Relationships” and make sure that they are connect. They can also add your relationship to your older Scout with their Registrar Tools, and you should be automatically connected in Scoutbook within about 24 hours.

I need help deciding switch way to merge two Scoutbook accounts for an adult who is a merit badge counselor. 12418702 has Merit Badge Counselor position and merit badges. 2011811 has parent connections to scout. Their member id number was moved from one account to the other by the person when they logged into Scoutbook. The system had given them an error message that their email address was on another account. Thank you!

@TracyGood This MBC has 2 BSA member ID numbers (MID) in your council.

One MID has the MBC registration. They other has the parent / child “Relationships” (in Registrar Tools). I would recommend putting the Relationships under the MID that belongs with the MBC registration.

Then I would probably keep Scoutbook userID 12418702 as the surviving userID when merging, because it already has the merit badges listed.

Found another parent with multiples. We can confirm three BSA IDs (and I attempted to work with her to link via my.scouting.org → Manage Member ID and we got error messages)

BSA IDs
13314618
14164863
12368518

And Scoutbook ID
10040089

Thanks!

@WilliamsburgScouter The date of birth and e-mails do not match between the first two BSA member numbers.

The third one appears to be a completely different person.

@WilliamsburgScouter This should be fixed.

Please ask her to log in at my.scouting and double-check:

  • date of birth
  • e-mail address
  • mailing address

If her date of birth is incorrect, your local council will need to fix it.

I have multiple profiles again after re-charter this year and am not able to access my Den leader/admin writes in one of my units now.
It is hard for me to see the number of the new profile it created at recharter.
the email they are all under is (removed by Moderator)

@LukeClendenin think that is all fixed
