Rank advancement requirement date blocking rank from being approved and awarded

I have a scout who is Life in LSB and Star in SB+ because of requirement #3 (MB required) has a completion date of 2/13/2025 and a MB in that req with a completion date of 5/29/2025, so it seems I get this error message that states an error in not enough MBs to fulfill rank. I saw the following set of steps to resolve this - and was able to get Life rank req #3 to be “not started”. But I cannot get this to allow me to add the completion date for this rank. Any suggestions?

here is what I THINK the issue is - Star/Life are prioritizing all Eagle Required MBs even over elective MBs that have earlier dates. That messes things up. The work around is messy, and unless documented error prone. If trying to fix I would take these exact steps.

1. PRINT a Scout History Report for the scout as they stand in system today. Make sure you see All MB Dates.

2. Then you have to go back through Eagle Required MBs - One by one - getting them to an uncompleted status and therefor unapproved - until you have the minimum # needed for the given Rank (Star 4 / Life 7)

3. Then set a date for the Rank and Approve to Lock it.

4. Then go back in and re-enter all the MBs that you uncompleted before using the information from the History report.

The alternative is waiting for a fix that is being worked on

@KennethLeblanc this is a known issue - most bugs are worked out and released but there are a few left - watch the change log for updates

Thanks, but req#3 for Life rank now shows as “not started” and I can’t “start” or add anything. Is that being fixed?

Do I have to literally remove the MB and if I do, do I have to re enter every MB requirement and date?
