A unit advancement chair is unable to enter the star rank for a Scout, MID #136610387. she earned the rank 07/30/2025 and I have made sure that everything is entered as complete before that date but it is still giving the error, BOR date should be later or equal to the last completed date for all requirements. I did notice that the date the advancement chair signed off on the requirement of the earning the 6 badges for the rank was signed off on 08/01/2025. How do we change that date to before July 30th so that the rank can be entered.
This is a known issue. The developers are working on a solution.

As a workaround, try removing the approval (and maybe completion dates) for Environmental Science, Moviemaking and Theater. I believe these MBs are the ones blocking approval of Star for this Scout because they were completed after the BOR but before you tried to mark Star complete.
It is not an issue with the complete dates of the merit badges because they were all earned before July 30th. The issue is the date that was entered for completion of the earning the 6 badges for the rank requirement. In Scoutbook you could change the date if necessary with the tranisition you can’t.
The 3 I mentioned have complete dates of 8/1/25.

That didn’t fix it. Those badges were not used for the Star rank. I was able to enter the date of August 1st and it accepted it. Please fix this soon a lot of leaders are hopping mad about this.

I too am having trouble entering a Rank advancement. I have a scout, ID14669332, he earned Scout Rank March 2025. I am now trying to enter his Tenderfoot Rank. I get an error saying “Youth has not completed a SM Conference for a previous rank and is ineligible for marking this requirement complete.” I can’t go back and mark SM Conference for Scout Rank because it has already been approved and awarded. Your guidance is appreciated.
ok thank you. Our CoH is next week. Being that I saw the SMC and the BoR, I will award the rank and enter it after the fix.
Developers tell me you can try adding an SMC date (before the BOR date) to Scout and that should all you to complete Tenderfoot.
The Board of Review for Scout Rank is the SM Conference.
There is no BOR for Scout rank. Just set the SM conference before the completion date.
