Re-add Adult Leader

I was changing position for one of our leaders and didn’t add the new one first. So when I ended the current they are no longer listed in my leaders and I can’t find them using scout book to add them back. What is best method to get them re-added?

Thank you

@WilliamEvans post the MID of the Scouter (no names) and it should be able to be fixed

Thank you for your assistance

@WilliamEvans I have requested a position sync. The adult leader should be back on the unit’s roster in Scoutbook within 24 hours.

If this adult leader is actually changing registered positions, I would recommend having the Chartered Org. Rep. (or COR Delegate) do that at my.Scouting using the Position Manager.

@JenniferOlinger Can you request a position sync for Member ID: 140576519 also? I seemed to have dropped off the Leader Roster for Pack 43. I am the Den 6 Leader, and will be the oncoming Cubmaster once Crossover happens for the incoming AOL’s. Thank you!

@Djohnson616 Your positions / roles are there in Scoutbook (legacy). But you need a Pack Admin to approve them.

This is frustrating only because they are unsure how to fix this themselves when asked. Is there someone I can reach out to?

@Djohnson616 Ask a Pack Admin to:

  1. Log in to Scoutbook (legacy) at: https://scoutbook.scouting.org
  2. Go to the main pack page.
  3. Click on Pack Roster.
  4. Click on your name.
  5. Click on your position / role.
  6. Check the box next to “Position Approved”.
  7. Click “Update” to save.
  8. Repeat for all of your positions / roles.

Thank you! I’ll let you know if this works.

The only volunteer-facing support for Scoutbook/SB+ is either via these forums or via the council staff. The council staff can submit MemberCare tickets to national for support if they can’t solve the issue themselves, but generally the SUAC volunteers here are substantially faster (for the things with which they can assist).

There’s also a help wiki here:

https://help.scoutbook.scouting.org/

which contains a great deal of information, but is sometimes out of date due to changes in the systems.
