Record not found/No emails

We have a parent whose name shows “No emails” but she cannot login to her account to change that because she gets an error message that says “Record not found”. Our council connected her to her older Scout (evidently she was only connected to her younger one in a different group than ours), but still no change. Her member ID is 14130076. Any suggestions?

She has a user name of Lastname5. She might try using my.scouting.org and forgot password - or at the Bottom right there is a BOT to make it easier - or council can reset the password for the user also.

@ErinBarrett I see a few things.

First, her date of birth is missing. She should contact the local council and they can add that for her. After her DOB is added, she can reset her password, if needed, by using the chatbot at my.Scouting. When it asks “Do you remember your security questions?”, she can say No to bypass.

Second, she should ask the council to use the Registrar Tools to add her parent / child relationships to both children. Right now, she only has the parent / child relationship with C., but not with O.

Third, she and child with first initial O. are both using the same e-mail address, and both are opted out of e-mails in Scoutbook. She can ask the local council to remove her e-mail address from O. They should also be able to help them opt back in to e-mails in Scoutbook using their Volunteer Support Tools (VST).

Thank you! I will relay the message to mom.
