Registration / Profile Error

Yesterday a new connection was entered to SB ID 13927382 through Scoutbook “add a connection”. The user received the email, and set up an account, SB ID 13984412. It appears that somehow the new account became disconnected to the connection to the youth. Can you take a look? Thanks!

OK it looks like unit made a misspelled last name - I merged the accounts and all should be good with the username they logged in with 10/1/24

BSA # 137482000 - attempting out-of-council transfer but error message received stating that scout has “no parent/guardian in relationship in our records”. Parents are still connected to their scout in Scoutbook. Can you take a look please? Thanks!

This error means there is no Parent/Guardian listed for the Scout in the registration database. This is different than the Scoutbook Database.

Contact the Council where the Scout is currently registered and ask them to use the Relationships tab of Registrar Tools to add the parent(s) to the Scout’s record.

Thanks. Parent transferred to the new Council prior to their scout which seems to have disconnect them on the Registration side.

That would not have disconnected them. The parent would have ended up with a new BSA Member ID in the new council but the old ID would still be on the Scout’s account if it existed.

You are the only parent listed in the Scout’s record in the membership database.

I reverted my Membership back to our previous Council so see the Scout’s registration but I continue to receive the error message when attempting a transfer.

Try again tomorrow in case there is an overnight sync required.
