I am currently receiving the following alert in Scoutbook:

“Your relationship to the following youth needs to be validated or access will become limited on 12/31/25.”

However, I am already linked to my son in Scoutbook. While troubleshooting, I discovered that I have two BSA ID numbers (****0816 and ****16921). I linked both of my IDs on the Scouting.org website hoping it would resolve the issue, but the alert is still appearing.

Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? When I contacted the council, they confirmed that I am linked correctly and were unsure why I am still receiving the alert.

The reason you are getting this warning is your son C is connected to MID 921.

Please contact your Council and ask them to use the relationship tab of Registrar Tools to move C from MID 921 to MID 816. About 24 hours later the message will go away.
