Is it possible to remove an old activity? I’m a unit advancment chair for our troop. I have a scout that has family camping and hiking trips in their activity log. They were entered when the scout was a cub scout and the the activity log was still in scoutbook. Is there a way to remove these?
Thanks
No. Older (pre-IA/SB+ logs) events can’t be removed or modified. However, those events from cubs (whether BSA-related or not) will be excluded from calculations for OA membership (for example) based on setting the “Date Joined Scouts BSA” in the scout’s profile.
And the Logs are the Scouts not the Units - just like at the back of the Scout Handbook - not all have to be approved by unit, but the records are the Scouts personal history
At the risk of wandering into program interpretation (vs software tech support), I don’t think that’s accurate, @Stephen_Hornak. I understood that NOA requires that the events be “under the auspices of the BSA”, not family (i.e. non-BSA) events.
Family camping trips/hiking does not count for the NOA. Cub scout camping/hiking does count. But it needs to be under the auspices of the BSA.
@CharleyHamilton -& @NatashaVermilyea - yes… you are correct… been a long day…
