Hi all, I’ve got a parent that created their my.scouting account before linking to their cub on Scoutbook. They have now linked, but on my.scouting, there is no option showing the cub for renewal. Can anyone peek at their ids? I’ve emailed council but no word yet. Does it take 24hrs for the scout to show up in their account? Cub expired 12/31.

Cub: ID no 14818618
@CHRISAPALLAS if that Dad just logs in clicking Sign in with Google - in my.scouting.org he is connected to renew - and in Scoutbook he is also connected. Otherwise we can combine it to his new account - but with the Google one nothing needs to be touched
Interesting. I’m not at all clear on how google sign in works and have spent a bunch of time helping them out. If there’s anything you can do to combine his account so he can renew his son, I’d be extremely grateful!
@CHRISAPALLAS ok the user name he set up the other day will now work for it all

Amazing. This worked immediately and thanks. Apologies for not replying sooner. What is the issue with Scoutbook and My.scouting talking to each other? I’ve now got two more overdue parents. One is saying they aren’t receiving Scoutbook connection invites, and the other has an account on my.scouting and Scoutbook but her Cub is also not showing for renewal.
Parent Connections have nothing to do with SB Parents - they are totally different - only council can solve parents and renewals - I recommend that They contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up the children. When they look up the children, they want to check children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that children are connected to parent with Only the correct BSA member ID number that the parent CAN LOG INTO
