Resources are dated as compared to training, specifically the New Cubmaster document

The Welcome New Cubmaster pdf found here is outdated as compared to the Cubmaster training I just finished. Specifically, the training points out the Cubmaster Minute but the document omits it. I get that is merely an old version of the criteria for a pack meeting, but I’m just pointing out that it could use a refresh. Also, it would be nice to have a better place than this to point out documentation issues, preferably in context of the documentation.

The only route to the folks who maintain training documents is via the council professionals. I agree that having a more “direct” route would be easier for your average volunteer, but that’s not what the BSA decided to do.

Also, to be honest, I wonder whether it’s just an omission in the document, since our CM used to do CM Minutes pretty routinely a decade-ish ago when I was a den leader (i.e. CM Minutes aren’t particularly new to the program).

Yeah, 'twould be nice to have a means to comment on content at large. The content is generally pretty good, but documentation can become stale, fast.

In my profession, we maintain a wiki site for documentation and we constantly submit changes.

Thanks!

Your Council Training Chair should be able to send feedback to the national training team.
