Restore emails, Leader opt out of emails

I have a leader (#126555951) that has an email status of “opt out”. The “Messaging Opt Out” slider no longer exists in Scoutbook. The opt in in SB+ is for calendar reminders. Would you please reset the leader’s email preference to receive emails?

The opt out slider is in Scoutbook Plus (https://advancements.scouting.org). The leader needs to log in with their my.scouting.org ID then click on profile. The opt-out check box is about 1/2 way down the page.

That box is not checked.
When I check it I get this message " To receive calendar invites/reminders and general messaging from the units with which you are associated with, please deselect “Opt out from unit messages.”"
It indicates calendar and general messages, not email.

The term Scoutbook uses for email is messages.

Oddly enough, I think it is letting me email her via SB+ But not via Scoutbook. I’ll have to check with her.

Also, the BCC feature in SB+ is not allowing me to select adults or Scouts.
