I’m attempting to renew our leaders and youth. No one has expired memberships yet but many expire in one week.
Upon clicking all of the individuals, hitting Renew, and hitting Create Renewal Orders, I receive an error message saying, “Failure to renew registrations.”
We do have a valid payment method saved on file. Any thoughts on how to correct this issue?
I’ve been told that all registration-related questions have to go to the council/registrar in the past. I haven’t seen this error myself, so I can’t comment on how it would be fixed.
Just spitballing:
- What are your registered and functional roles in the unit? my.scouting only respects those and (to some extent) the functional roles like Key 3 Delegate and COR Delegate.
- Does it create a renewal order at all (e.g. some of the scouts/scouters selected were added to the renewal, but others are missing)? That might help start diagnosing the issue by narrowing who the problems are cropping up with.
Thanks for the ideas. I’m the Committee Chair. It doesn’t generate a renewal order at all. I emailed Council but figured I’d ask here too while I’m waiting to hear back from them.
