I just logged into scoutbook and it says “Warning another user is using the same email address. If this is unexpected contact your local council or post to the Using Scoutbook Forum.” Has anyone seen this message? What should I do? I am the only one using this email address.
@AdamHuck it was applied to your scouts account - I cleaned it up
Thank you very much for your help.
Hi, We accidently made a duplicate account for my son. Please delete the BSA ID# 1478141 since it isn’t tied to his scout account. Thanks
@BenjaminHanna that number does not exist
Having the same issue as original post.
I just logged into scoutbook and it says “Warning another user is using the same email address. If this is unexpected contact your local council or post to the Using Scoutbook Forum.”
@TammyEakins that is fixed - you need to use your my.scouting.org username to log in - NOT your email
@BenjaminHanna I was able to find the duplicate.
You might want to double-check the Scout’s date of birth (DOB). The reason a duplicate was created was because the Scout’s DOB did not match.
The Scout should log in with his user name that is:
firstname.lastname
Hi! I am having the same issue - “Warning another user is using the same email address. If this is unexpected contact your local council or post to the Using Scoutbook Forum.” Could I have that fixed for me please? Thank you!
@JaniceVarga that is done
I logged into Scoutbook and have the same warning that another user is using my email address. Can you help me understand why I have this warning?
@LauraDobbs It’s because your e-mail was also on your son’s Scoutbook account. I have removed it.
