Scout disappeared when I tried to reassign dens

I was removing a scout from a den that I incorrectly assigned them to. As I made that edit and saved the progress the scout is no longer showing in my roster.

Do you still have a connection to the scout in your My Connections page in Scoutbook? If so, you should be able to remove the end-date from their membership in the previous den, and retry the process. If not, the @SUAC should be able to set an overnight sync to get the scout back on your Scoutbook roster.

The best way to move the scouts from den to den (or patrol to patrol) has historically been (in Classic Scoutbook) to go to the roster for the receiving den/patrol, then select “Reassign Scouts”.

I have requested a sync to bring them back onto your scoutbook roster. This could take up to 24 hours. At that point, you’ll need to assign them to a den.

I checked there too but the scout wasn’t listed.

Jacob - I have a similar issue that occurred with a scout when I was trying to move dens. I suspect that instead of removing him from then den that I removed him from the available scouts list which took him off my roster by accident. The council says they still see him connected to us but I don’t know how to get him back on my roster. Is the sync you did in this situation the same type of thing that I might need?

@MeganRodden yes a bug was introduced that effects when you change sub-units - post the BSA number and we can resolve it

It happened to me yesterday. after 24 hours, the scout showed back up in the system under unassigned.

Hi! Apologies, I accidentally deleted a scout from our Troop roster when I went to reassign them to a different patrol. Can you please help me get them back on our Scoutbook roster? Member ID: 13917609. Will all of their advancement records still show? Thank you!

@AliciaRitter looking again - if you need back faster you can go to your Dashboard - My Connection > find the Scout > go to membership and fix there

Thank you so much for the help! I am not seeing the My Connection on the dashboard. Is that the same as Connections Manager? I believe when I went there, she was also not showing up there. Thank you for your guidance!
