We have a scout with the same issue. We have been trying to resolve since March 2019. We were told it was an issue with the name, then it was the birth date, etc., etc. Everything matches my.scouting.org. I was able to finally able to get their advancement sync icon on the scout in Scoutbook’s roster but in internet advancement, he is still listed as being registered with another unit. He has not been with another until since bridging from Cub Scouts in February 2019. I see there is an issue with the API but no release date is an issue as this is preventing us from purchasing the patches for him - our council requires the PO from scoutbook which he does not show up on due to all of this.

@LaurelRaleigh-Klimow I sent you a private message, but your Scout has 2 current membership with your troop. One of them needs to be ended. And the remaining current membership needs to be “position approved” (green shield with checkmark).
@LaurelRaleigh-Klimow I was able to remove the unapproved membership, but it removed both of them. You will need to add a current membership.
If he no longer appears on your Troop Roster, look for him by going to:
My Dashboard → Administration → My Account → My Connections
Then click on Scout’s Membership
If there is a past membership with his patrol, you can click on it and remove the Date Ended. Or you can add a new membership. Either way, you will likely need to check the box next to “Position Approved”. If his membership is approved, you will see a green shield with checkmark.
@LaurelRaleigh-Klimow You posted to the public forums – not in a private message, so I removed all of the pictures. I will take another look.
For now, start a new membership for Collin with today as the start date. This will give us more time to get the issue figured out.
