Scout Transfer Issue

I am the Scoutmaster of a Troop in the Burke Lake District of NCAC.

We have a Scout family that moved here over the summer.

Both kids joined our Troop in September. Their youngest transferred across the street to another Troop to be with school friends in October.

He is transferring back to us, but there’s an error when the dad tries to transfer him or multiples him. The other Troop’s Key 3 either doesn’t know how or can’t transfer the scout.

The Scout’s Scouting America ID # is 141356177.

The error message talks about a bad email and we’ve tried changing the email on both the dad’s and scout’s account page but nothing works. Any help is much appreciated.

@JasonHuggins I pushed the Scouts email to AKELA (Registration Database) - I am not sure this should help AND really should not - usually I have seen the email errors on parent accounts. They can try again from fathers account to transfer, if it works tell us, if not talk to council

The Dad is listed 3 times in the parent / child “Relationships” in Akela. One of them is missing an e-mail address.

I would recommend asking the local council to use their Registrar Tools to look up the Scout. In the “Relationships” tab / section, remove the Dad under his secondary member ID numbers. He should only be listed as parent under his primary member ID number: 141105342.
