Scout with different ids between Scoutbook and Mobile App


I have a scout who wanted to start using the mobile app to track his progress (Alex K.)

In Scoutbook his id is 14087469 and this has all of his correct information. When I checked his mobile application, it noted his id is 14158404. This does not display any of his rank or advancement information.

Is there a way to correct this so that he can start using the app and track his progress?

Thank you! I appreciate the guide too. I’ll work with him and any others who want to get their mobile app accounts set up.

This Scout used a nickname instead of his full name when creating his my.scouting account, so that is why a match was not found and the automated system created a new BSA member ID number for the Scout.
