Scoutbook Calendar Reminder Emails Have Wrong Timezone

My Committee Chair and I have created Scoutbook Calender events in the correct timezone, even confirmed by our personal settings and the fine print on top of the calendar. However, email reminders sent to the Pack are all in Central Standard Time (CST), which adds significant confusion because CST is 14 hrs different than our actual local time. Does anyone else have this problem where Scoutbook reflects the time zone properly, but the email reminders do not?

@ErickMin

Please go to Edit Pack in Scoutbook Plus and provide a screen shot of the time zone setting.

Here you are, two different locations that confirm I have the correct time zone selected, but emails show CST for some reason. Not sure how long this has been occurring but qe just noticed it.

Looks like a recent issue, as the email reminder for our fall family campout on Nov 15 listed the correct time zone.

Good data thanks @ErickMin

Similar issue has been reported by a mobile user in my troop. Our troop Scoutbook calendar is setup in Eastern/GMT-5, but he is seeing event in CST on his mobile.

@MatthewWendling Where are they seeing the wrong timezone? The app, website, subscribed calendar on the device, email?

Thank you for the reply. Either the app or calendar when viewed on a mobile device… Here is what they shared with me…

@MatthewWendling

The calendar is supposed to follow the timezone of the local device. Is this member’s phone set to Eastern time?

@MatthewWendling Was that from today? I was seeing something like that recently, but not today.
